It’s awesome. The only time every 2 years that many producers are open to the public, and now there are more participating than ever before. Some places have more of a big festival vibe, others are small and intimate.

Nice to stay outside of Brussels in the Pajottenland region, and definitely plan to get an early start each day.

I went in 2017 and 2019 and loved it. The HORAL buses are a good way to visit a lot of the breweries/blenderies over two days, just be strategic in which buses you book. And while Cantillon and Drie Fonteinen don't participate, my experience was that both had an influx of customers the days before the toer, with Cantillon having its usual killer list of bottles available onsite and Drie Fonteinen having more of a party setup.

Toer de Geuze is an 'open-door day/weekend' for all lambiek aficionados organized by Horal, the High Council for Craft Lambiek Brewers & Blenders. Every edition is unique and a special beer is released: Megablend, a blend of most lambiek brewers & blenders.
Most/All members of Horal gladly participate in this weekend (mostly in the beginning of May): Boon, De Cam, Den Herberg/Devillé,, De Troch, Eylenbosch, Hanssens, Lambiek Fabriek, Lindemans, Mort Subite, Oud Beersel, Tilquin and Timmermans. Not all members are open on both Saturday and Sunday.
Not participating and non-members of Horal: 3 Fonteinen, Cantillon and Girardin.

Toer de Geuze is my favorite bi-annual beer excursion since 2009! I charter a small bus (20 persons) and all visitors can choose 4 venues to visit. In 2024, we will visit Den Herberg/Devillé, Eylenbosch, Oud Beersel and Tilquin.

During the Toer de Geuze weekend, the lambiek brewers and blenders showcase their lambiek and fruitlambiek, including their geuze and fruitgeuze.
