Hey, BA Community! I'm taking a trip to Ruidoso, NM from Texas in two weeks and would love your help! Are there any good breweries, stores (for beer or liquor), and/or bars/restaurants that you would recommend? I've done a little research, but always appreciate the help of this community! Thanks in advance!

    Cheers!

sorry just saw this. It has been years since I was there, wasn't a big beer guy back then, but remember most of the food on the somewhat uninspiring side. There is one thing that stuck out in my mind, and I still remember it today. I had a Chili Relleno Burger, I think it was from the Lincoln Country Grill (that is the only place I can find it). I remember it being battered with cornmeal and just taking the burger to the next level. I hope I am not steering you wrong here, worst thing in the world is to get a bad burger. Enjoy your stay and hope you have fun, was kinda a cool little town.

I have nothing to add here, cause the last time I was in Ruidoso I was 16 on vacation with my family. But man that brings me back...

I remember I was on my high school cross country team and training...went on a run, a dog (not sure if it was stray, or just from a local home running around) would always run along with me. Then one day, when he started with me, then suddenly disappeared. Turning around seeing a huge bear and was like OK, back to the vacation house ha.

So that is my Ruidoso experience that I remember ha.

Edit: Oh and going to white sands desert...that was really cool.
