Enjoying a Wachusett Quinn's Amber Ale, 4.8% - what a pretty beer! Cheers!



-Look: Very pretty clear deep amber with a clumpy tan head.
-Smell: Toasty malts, slight rye, mild grassy hops.
-Taste: Delicious mild toasty malts and a hint of grassy hops.
-Feel: Smooth and balanced, thin to medium, slippery.
-Overall: A good amber ale - very tasty and drinkable!

 

A new NM beer in the supermarkets over here. Not bad.

 

Hope everything is going to work out for you.

Best can of SN Hop Bullet Magnum so far. The hops really pop on this one.

Murky golden pouring beer. Beautiful white head that is 1 finger. The head looks frothy. Decent head retention, but no lacing on the glass.
The aroma is full on lemon. It is quite pleasing with sweet and tart aroma. I also get a yeast aroma that provides a slight funk to the nose.
Taste - Pleasing lemon flavor. Somewhat sweet, yet tart at the same time. There's a hint of a wild funky flavor in this beer from the yeast used that adds another layer to the flavor.
Light and easy drinking body.
This is tasty and it really is what Summer Shandy should be. This would be amazing on a hot summer day.

 

2015 Aventinus Weizenbock, enjoyed on draft. Always a treat!

 

Did some chores in the morning, brought Mr. D's back home and opted for something nice and light on the beer side.

Stone Delicious Citrus.
Some interesting beers (for us here in NW Europe anyway) in the supermarket lately. Besides some Stone batches, interesting beers from Finland. The last are rather pricey; at $7 to $8 a can.

Clear and beautiful golden pouring beer. There's a 1 finger white head. The head is long lasting, and fluffy looking. There's some lacing on the glass.
It may only be 30 IBU, but, damn, there's tons of hops in here. Slightly grassy and earthy smelling. Faint tropical notes.
Taste - This is a very grassy and earthy tasting beer. Holy cow. Slight bitterness from the hops. Somewhat wild tasting.
The body is full, and smooth. Some bitterness feeling from the hops and it lingers on the back.
Tasty and delicious overall.

Got to slow down a bit here, so I'm enjoying this now. It's so close to the real thing.

Picked up this orphan beer on Wed night. It was the only one in the store. Plus I added it to the database and uploaded a can image. Wild how that happens sometimes. Schell's Northland Gold Helles German Style Lager. Cheers!

 

I am headed to the land of Schell’s next Saturday, weather permitting, I will have to look that one up.
