Getting a Hill Farmstead thread going given the further distribution and welcomed venture into Maine. Makes sense to have a central place to discuss given the information shared in other threads recently. In speaking with a bar manager Hill Farmstead will be asking for feedback regarding the Maine distro so worth mentioning to accounts if the pours are excellent and perhaps if the prices are too high. Can’t hurt to tell them we want more!

LOVE having this available in Maine now, much closer to us folks further north. Would be nice if folks could share some of the accounts who continue to receive it.

Perhaps some of the MA accounts may increase or increase offerings as well, beyond Edward.

A host of Boston bars always have 3-4 HF taps at a time now, it’s great.

Yes, as far as I know it is on premise only.

Looked like a great price at Mash Tun the other weekend. Edward, Excursions, Harlan all $6. Small pours of the lagers were $6 too, I think. Earl, Double Citra $7. I think everything was $8 at Lambs.

$12 a pour in kittery was a little silly.

Looks like HF definitely won’t be available at Novare Res. After Brienne’s post I wonder how many biz owners will choose between SP and HF like she suggested.

I don’t think a business owner should be strong armed. It’s their money.

Then why would she have to send her beer to any given bar anyway. Capitalism etc. HF and SP sell so I'm sure owners will balance sales and their own personal feelings.

All it’s doing is putting a business owner in a precarious place. Say they have customers that enjoy both beers and decide to sell them to said folks. What’s Brienne going to do, bully and drag them online? Doesnt make sense.

What are some of the other pour prices people have seen around Maine?

Yeah, it’s great to see it at a reasonable price when I know it could be easily jacked up.

I like that spot, they do a great job with their whole beverage program. Looking forward to going back again when the weather turns.

Yeah...this whole conversation got really confusing for a minute. the SP abbreviation is kind of thoroughly dominated by one single brewery in the beer scene worldwide, and no one here even needs me to say it, agreed?

Sacred Profane, her brewery, Brienne's or ratmagnet's brewery, may just might be a little more necessitated, if we could...

And just to be even clearer, are we talking about a new post, or the viral one from a few years ago?

She posted a picture a few days ago with a middle finger salute about how if anyone sells HF they can go ahead and not sell her beer. Another one had her telling people to fuck off if they want to sell it because they don’t care about her posts from a few years ago.

just made me think that given her online presence it might put a business owner in a weird spot if they want to sell both beers. No one wants to go on blast just for selling beers.

Oh good lord. Hill's beer will move 1000 times faster but local bars are beholden to her, for what? I think I'd take the "loss" of Sacred Profane if I were a bar owner. Serve your own beer from your own Lukr exactly how you want it poured from the only hands you respect, yours and yours alone.

King's Head had Harlan, Marie and Edward on draft over the past 10 days. Not sure of the prices. They also have Sacred Profane on at same time for those that care. Great Lost Bear had Double Citra (and Sacred Profane per usual).
