Decent, but nothing to write home about.

 

Ayinger Maibock, which is excellent of course.

More of Keith Jarrett's classical albums, the excellent Arbour Zena. With Jan Garbarek, Charlie Haden, and the Stuttgart Orchestra.

 

Elevated IPA. On the patio a beautiful warm afternoon. This is one great IPA it’s well
made ,balanced with nice bitterness @ $11 - $12 a 4Pk , Hard to to beat this one IMO.

 

I will be opening one of those next.

 

Will do!

 

1) Hop Butcher Mirror Ball (7.5% canned 1/2/24): A NEIPA from Chicago with Citra, Mosaic, and Centennial for flavors of orange, sweet berries, grapes, and hints of pine. Smooth and sweet.
versus
2) Phase Three DDH Unused PTO (8.0% canned 12/28/23): A NEIPA from Chicago with Mosaic, Vic Secret, and Strata for flavors of grapefruit and lime citrus, zesty white grape, peach, and floral notes. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

Winner:
2) Phase Three DDH Unused PTO: Chicago NEIPA Battle. First is Hop Butcher Mirror Ball. Strong and robust flavors. Complex for such a simple and old school hop combination. Leans sweeter. Excellent.
Next is Phase Three DDH Unused PTO. Great hop combo of Vic Secret, Strata, and Mosaic. Similar to Hop Butcher in flavor complety but not as sweet and bit more drinkable. I really like this one and think it's one of Phase Three's bests. They are nailing their NEIPA game have had some bangers as of recently. Excellent Phase Three beer.

 

Having one more, then it's water for the rest of the evening.

 

Same good beer in poor packaging. Oh, who's that youngster in the background? This one will probably be my last tonight.

That new label is absolutely ghastly. I refuse to support them now. I think i grabbed Dirty Bastard once and a couple KBS put of necessity in the last 5 months , but sheeesh. What shite labels!

 

Little Sip by "Lawson´s". Nice brew for only 6.2% ABV...

 

Next up an iconic Swami’s IPA , its available fresh and priced right , i like Elevated a bit more however Pizza Port has a slightly better price , you win either way on both .

 

Currently enjoying an Augustiner Maximator...
