A more than decent Weissbier - action in the local supermarket, i think somehow they periodically get their hands on overproduction that the producer does not want to ditch in the home country for reputational reasons. 1 euro a bottle only.
You cannot even get a good pilssner for that price,

I learned something new from Swedish Beerguy. Weissen can taste like italian Salami.
I do not think he means the fennol one, but savory and the slightly garliccy one.
Yes, good observation. Never thought of it, but I can relate to it too.

Almost unimaginable for younger viewers I guess. But I had a television setup like this in my student days. I remember one evening watching a Pink Panther movie with friends. One of us had to take turns holding the aerial in the correct position to keep the show going.
Sometimes I miss the days when simple things were somewhat difficult.
