Thought I was pulling a new one out of the fridge but apparently I’ve been fortunate enough to have had it before. Excellent Sunday afternoon beer with lunch!

Getting my pre beer drinking base at a nice local cafe I like...they do really good sandwiches. Merguez sausage baguette, this is ridiculously good as always.



Before heading on up the road to Great Heights Brewing. Their excellent Irish Stout in the glass.

 

Had a couple Irish Stouts, which is only 4% ABV.

Then a big one, Bourbon Barrel Aged Quad. Which is again, very good. Just about to finish my book as well

It's really a tasty little treat - the balsamic dressing really plays well with the strawberries and spinach. Very satisfying treat that doesn't leave me wanting. You can find various recipes online - my advice is that most have too much sugar so I would halve the amount of sugar (most say a 1/2 cup, a 1/4 cup is plenty). I used Truvia brown sugar which has 0 calories per serving and 0 grams of sugar. Cheers!!
