Money! The all mighty $dollar$., my US bank wouldn’t let me link to my French bank account unless I’m transferring ‘in person’., had to come straighten that out.
And then I took time to see friends in Miami, family in Salt Lake City.,

Drinking some Molson Golden today. Definitely a good decent beer. After trying some European, craft, and hoppier beers, it is nice to get back to something familiar and closer to home.

1) Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier Dunkel (5.3%): A German Dunkelweizen with flavors of bread, caramel, orange spice, and yeast.
versus
2) Weihenstephaner Vitus (7.7%): A German Weizenbock with flavors of orange citrus, rich bread, German bread spices. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

Winner:
2) Weihenstephaner Weissbier Dunkel: Dunkelweizen vs Weizenbock Battle, both from Weihenstephaner. The Dunkelweizen is dryer and less sweet. Has more orange, brown bread, hints of caramel flavor.
Vitus is bigger and sweeter. Stronger flavors, but brighter.
Thoguht I would pick the Vitus here, but the complex dark flavors of the Dunkelweizen are wowing me.
