If West Kill Brewing sent their beers to my area (Philly area) I would be happy to accommodate you but my local beer retailers don't have these beers.

Maybe a nice and polite message to @LesDewitt4beer will help you out here?

    Cheers!

I got 1 can from Half Time. Rather, I had 1 can. Don't let the corn or a preconceived notion of AAL fool ya on this one. That's just my take.

I'm blaming this thread for my recent purchase of an Enegren case that is currently making its way up north. Tasty Pils, Vienna and Dunkel will be mine this weekend.

I've been to Austria many times but have never seen Trumer. During my last visit I was specifically looking for it, but still nothing. Same luck this time until I stumbled upon a warehouse-like liquor store, where I finally found it among a hundred of other beers. It's the most expensive bottle of every beer in the store despite the smaller size. Now enjoying it side-by-side with Rothaus. Will report about later.

The Gmoa Keller has some solid schnitzel and Trumer on tap all the time.

I also found it at an outdoor bar in the city center. According to my notes I saw it all over the city center.

I might have oversold it as ubiquitous but I didn’t have to go searching far either. It’s certainly not as easy to find as Goller and Otterkringer.

Many thanks to the Germany forum for the assist on Gmoa.

To clarify, I'm not in Vienna, but in a small town about an hour away from Salzburg. The most common beer here is from a local brewery.

From yesterday. I haven't had Spaten Premium in quite a while and wanted to reacquaint myself with an old favorite.

Not too bad in the bready malty category, but it makes me realize I've grown to enjoy many of the local lagers being brewed around me. They just seem to have a freshness I don't get in the Spaten. Pasteurization for export? Don't know. The bottles in the covered 12-pack (no skunk) are best by 09/2024. @grantcty @AlcahueteJ @hanuswalrus

Is the assumption that’s six months old?

It's a hoppy noble hops Vienna for sure but that malt backbone says tradition.

My last big haul contained a number of Pilsners. This one kicks butt.

New annual release from a local (ish) favorite -- sold out from the nearest retailer, but I put in a save request with my favorite beer manager -- thanks Wilson! @hanuswalrus

Rich malty, doughy, crackery and smooth. Good hop balance. Canned 02-29-24. Hides its 6.6 ABV too well. Prosit!
