I very much agree. And if you take your time or take it out of the fridge early, you'll get some nice dark fruit notes that become more pronounced as it warms. A lot more complexity than with a Guinness.

Laundry done, folded and put away. Cleaned Shrimp resting before a good steam. A Torpedo on the balcony this sunny, breezy, hot SW FL afternoon:

    yea man

@ChicagoJ sorry I’m just seeing your Philly post now almost a month later. I’ve been inactive. Anyways. In my opinion Steve’s prince of steaks in the northeast is best. They don’t chop the steak. Order with the local slang or they get frustrated like you’re slow. For example. “Extra cheesesteak American with”. My personal move. For those who don’t know it’s extra steak. American cheese and onions. Said weird because Philly feels the need to be different. Brewery id obviously recommend yards. I no longer work for them. It’s been real. But the tap room is great. Food is ok. But human robot which is nearby was the spot the yards brewers went to drink if that means anything to you.
Nicks roast beef in Mayfair is a hidden gem that not so hidden.

    cheers.

Wormtown always make solid brews, and they've got Be Hoppy dialed in! One thing I found out yesterday was that Purgatory Brewing in Whitinsville was sold to a former brewmaster from Wormtown - this could be a good move.

Purgatory pretty much sucked, I never had a good beer from them so hopefully it will be better under the new ownership. The name of the new brewery/taproom is Murder Hill.

TRVE continues making some fine, easy drinking lagers. I understand this beer to have been brewed at the New Image Brewing Co. production site. I hope this beer becomes a frequent offering over the coming years.

Woods & Waters is one of my favorite MBC brews. Luckily, I can get it most times in Richmond.
