After spending just 20 minutes on this thread I had to Google this-

According to Diageo, the owner of the Guinness brand, 15% of Guinness sales occur in March. This means that around $15,244,220.55 in Guinness sales can be attributed to March 17th annually.

Cajun corned beef is basically regular corned beef but with some Cajun spices added - 2 TBSP of Slap Ya Mama Cajun seasoning (or whatever your favorite Cajun seasoning is) and 2 tsp of Louisiana Hot Sauce, plus a fair amount of garlic.

Kicks it up a notch and makes it a little more exciting.

I use this one because it has a pretty nice level of heat to it. Cheers!!

Happy St Patrick’s Day Irish and Irish at heart

I bought tickets for my wife’s birthday to the inaugural St Pats Day brunch on the Cape Cod Railroad. It was a nice ride and pretty good food through bogs, marshlands and along the canal of Cape Cod you can’t see by car. Very enjoyable and relaxing. Salainte Mhath!

 

Attempting to stitch pix 2gthr kinda sux. You get idea. Fast rewind...very few people I hung out with at the time owned a car. We shacked up in a little seaside gaff. When I arrived one day there was an old scooter that was almost running. Petrol is very expensive over there. I showed my bud how to disassemble the carb, clean it, and we cleaned & adjusted the entire bike and that lil' bitch started singin' and ran like a fox. Dude had new tires put on it and I rode that little Yamaha 50 all over the feckin' shop for 3 months but never into Cork City. The entire band did...unlicensed. Although a couple lads did go into town and had stories to tell about the looks they got from people. One fella rode it to Bantry and back. Ha! Did lots of shite we weren't supposed to do. Another non-Irish beer but I found another one of these and decided it did not need to be aged.

Having a virtual shot with an ex-coworker who is going through cancer right now so he’s not drinking as much.

I need to apologize for saying Van Morrison sucks earlier. I don’t like him, but I shouldn’t disparage somebody with his pedigree. Anyway, nothing says St Patrick’s Day to me like Shane’s family dancing at his funeral, even if it is to a Christmas song.
