I actually had another breakfast beer in mind this morning but decided to roll with this:

Gnarly Barley Catahoula Common



Pours a pale light gold color with lasting white cap and good lacing.

Aroma of sweet grain and sharp/floral hops.

Taste on entry is medium malt that's clean, tasty and very satisfying. Hops kick in at about mid palate and laste through the crisp, dry finish and pleasant aftertaste. This Common Beer is brewed with Cascade Hops which give it a familiar taste that brings back a lot of scent and palate memories for me.

I could go on for paragraphs and every thing I say would be positive. I like California Common beers and I'm glad to find this one in our distribution area.

 

I’d like to see more California commons on shelves.

 

I agree with both of you. I don't have much experience outside of Anchor Steam, which I've always enjoyed, but I grab others when I see them, with mixed results.

Still have dozens of drink fresh and cellar appropriate beers to clear from the cellar. Will join @Squire with likely my final pour of this beer unless there is some miraculous savior for this once great brewery.

Anchor Steam Beer

La Brasserie du Levant (Toulouse, France) ‘Blonde Strong Bitter’.,. Cheeeeers!

An obvious yell @Resistance88 - this is Rue L’Espagne, Toulouse, on this absolutely gorgeous 72° afternoon.,.

 

Yazoo Brewing Lost Years Lager



Light golden amber color with quickly dissipating white cap.

Aroma of rich malt and spicy hops. A clean scent.

Taste on entry is a combination of malt and hops in about equal proportion. There is a touch of hop bitterness on the back of the palate that steps up over the malt without stomping on it. Clean, crisp and satisfying.

Texture is a small bit above medium.

A very flavorful Lager style beer suitable for food, company or both.

I didn't know it was flavored when I opened it, but it somehow magically works.
Not something I would drink on a regular basis, but definitely good with pizza.
