    Maredsous Blonde, their tripel is also good but 10% ABV by midday would be a bit much.

    Went for a walk this morning and saw the sign that I needed an ale. Typical March weather. Sun , clouds windy rain and hail all in one day. Since it's Orval day I'll start the afternoon with one. Cheers

    Good People Brewing Hazy Snake NEIPA

    Orange Amber gold color with small white cap and little lacing.

    Aroma of sharp, bitter, piney/citrusy hops with an emphasis on the citrus.

    Taste on entry is delicious hop icing on a sweet malt cake. Yes, this stuff is good. Hops are sharply refreshing and redolent of citrus zest. Malt is rich, plentiful and could stand alone in other beer styles. The thing that strikes me most is balance from beginning to finish which is clean, lasting and refreshing.

    Full texture with balancing carbonation.

    The overall impression is great balance matched with satisfying flavors.

    @ZlaVydra -- re your post yesterday about better TX beers:

    ...luckily, I've had many before...when my parents lived in Rockport, TX, the local HEB store carried some fine Real Ale and St. Arnold beers along with others varieties, and beer trading and Tavour have also provided me some good beers...also have good memories of bars in Fredricksburg when we stopped there one afternoon on the way back to Colorado...

    ...for me, it's not having my own transportation plus whatever crazy work setup my former boss wants to do for this antique and jewelry showing I'm helping him with entails...I have no idea how much downtime I'll have...

    ...anyway, I'm sure better Texas beers still will be in my future...
