Cambridge Brewing Company (2024)

Sour fest was very chill tonight, and delicious as always.

Nothing kicked if any of you are looking to go tomorrow for leftovers. Highlights for us were Jack Straw, Bad Hat Harry, Lemon Yellow Sun and of course Cerise Cassee (we liked the 2023 version better). Biggest miss was Short King, both years. Not right for our palettes I guess, and the extra age didn't do anything interesting to it.

For any English ale fans, don't sleep on Griffon. And Go West Young Man was very tasty for anyone that likes a piney IPA.

 

The CBC 35th Anniversary Party is Saturday, May 4th. This is a must attend event for me. Looking forward to next weekend.

 

I've got my dinner reservation booked. Can't wait!

 

I hope they release a draft list online before the party.

It was great. Very relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of former CBC brewers and servers in attendance.

 

Kinda felt like their events pre covid. Patio bar serving guest beers, band playing in the corner, tons of different styles on draft. Good times. Hope they keep it going by finally bringing back pumpkin fest.

 

I need pumpkin fest again. Been in my 20’s, 30’s but never 40’s

 

Closing 12/20. End of an era. Bummer.

 

I'm so gutted by the news. No more barley wine or sour festivals? This one truly hurts.

 

I didn’t see a reason why? Any chance they could sell to a new owner to keep it going?

 

Jesus. To me this is like Fenway Park closing.

So when and where will get Will Myers’s beer!?
