Love the concept, draft variants are always awesome so it’ll be nice to be able to take ‘em home and crack em fresh with friends or dome one solo when feeling frisky haha.

So Supermassive Cafe Mocha and Stoopermassive Cafe Deth are the tall boy variants? Just wondering what exactly Stoopermassive Cafe Deth is, and what the Old Jacket tease was about in the thread now!

    Probably an espresso ground slushy.

Supermassive 4-packs will remain at their pre-pandemic/inflation price of $40/4-pack.

The 19.2 Stoopermassive and Mocha versions will both be $25 each.

Distro? Or brewery pick up only?

They confirmed on the FB, Taproom and Brewpub only for Supermassive.

Kind of a different conversation when it comes to high abv offerings, in my opinion. I’ve said multiple times before that I think rev should break up the lingering deep woods variant 4-packs for to-go. I’d tack on a $10 can of a prior year’s deth by cherries, maple jacket, and the others pretty much every time I drop in for my cold time, Eugene, unsessionable, etc.

Why is that? What’s the abv cutoff?

12+? Whatever you typically see in 750s, bombers, 500ml, etc., typically barrel aged or otherwise flavor stable so that brewer, retailer, nor consumer has to feel too bad if it’s been sitting in a cooler or on a shelf after a year or two.

I guess I’ve been lucky to not have any of those issues with those. I did have a 2023 Ryeway foam up slightly last night for the first time, but not aggressively enough to cause spillage.

Taste was just fine I assume? Seen lots of gusher reports, but no quality issues otherwise.

Yeah, taste fine. Again I lost 1/3 or so on the counter, but nothing wrong with the taste.

Chiming in here because I too, have had Rev gushers - specifically Ryeway in the past, but opened a VSOGD last night that sped out of the can like a race car! My speedy reaction time saved the day and I got it all into the glass
