A different approach to likes

'Cause scrolling back one page in a chat forum is such difficult work.

I was at an event as a small child and a kid was given money by his father to buy us both a soda.
30 minutes later my father gave me money and said...he brought you a soda, go buy him one.
My father never uttered a word,ever but that stuck.
Likes are communication to me saying I value your presence here and whatever you bring to this site.

Maybe I'm getting old and silly but after a lifetime of being in a room with some of the sickest humans you can imagine I just enjoy knowing what @tasterschoice62 is having to drink and eat

I'm going to say I don't scroll through and just like every post. I respect all that post on WBAYDN but I usually hit the like on the regulars and the ones that seem to put a little effort into posting instead of just posting the name of a beer. That's not interesting to me. It's like if I was sitting at a bar and someone just pushed their beer over and said look at this. That's boring and I get bored easily. That said I love all that post here in one way or another I just think the easy thing to do is like every post. And I think that's not fair to the new peeps, regulars and all those that like to post what's going on in life and what their interests are. I have no FB so this is primarily my only interaction with people on SM. (I do have an Instagram account). I like hanging and talking as if I was in a bar. It's cool seeing the music and hobbies of everyone.

EDIT: Perhaps we are! I thought for sure any Unicode char should be valid input.
