    Well, finally got my power and internet back - tried to post this some time back.....stormy day!

    another "project boat" I looked at Monday afternoon - Lyman 15 footer wood runabout made in Sandusky OH back in the 1950's
    Probably going to pass on this one - too many projects already!

    3 mile walk, $2 pints Tuesday! Today's brews, Smithwicks Red Ale from Guinness. Since it was so good on tap, that was the only kind I drank today. Did try a sample of Iowa Brewing's Cousin Eddie's Breakfast Brown Ale, brewed with maple syrup and coffee. 11.5% abv, a little too sweet from the maple, could've used more coffee. Tasty, nonetheless. Cheers!

    Thx for the recipe. Copied and saved for a future meal.
    Gotta say I'm not sure what my body would do with 15 types of beans in one dish.

    One of my favorite California breweries: Everywhere Beer in Orange.
    "only ever" IPA is quite sudsy and sharp on the tongue. Aroma of lime, alfalfa, and garden soil. This is quite resiny and green tasting. Flavors of under-ripe fruit and a mineral finish. Plenty bitter and then some. This is drinkable enough, but on the austere side. “West coast india pale ale brewed with premium pilsner malt, and hopped with citra, new zealand grown cascade, simcoe, and strata.”
