Crosstown Brewing Squonkey



Light gold color with medium white cap.

Aroma of rich malt and floral hops.

Taste on entry is rich malt with a touch of caramel. Not exactly sweet but so rich as to suggest sweetness. It's a mouthful. Floral hops are just enough to spice things up a bit.

Brewer describes this as a Hoppy Lager and that's not far off. These are not sharply bitter hops, rather a gentle sort that make their presence known without being intrusive. Let's just say this beer has character and a likable personality.

Stone XoCoVEZA canned 7-14-2023 is tasting great! May run out to Big Hammock for wiener Wednesday lunch depending on the rain, otherwise just chilling. Have a wicked Wednesday y'all!!
@mickyge thanks for the book recommendation, I just ordered it from Amazon. I didn't go in until 1982 but had a chance to talk to quite a few E6/E7's that had fought in Vietnam.
