Today I wanted to create something so I made pasta and than ravioli with a truffle/Burrata filling. I be serving this with a cherry tomato and fresh basil sauce with the Mrs in a bit. Time.for CD.

 

Finally hunted down a 4 pack. Cheers!

 

Found a Punge in my other fridge, didn't know I still had one. Nice.

 

Kind of a slow day at work. Went home a little early and poured a beer.

Fantastic stuff. @tasterschoice62 I'm very impressed with the raviolis. My ex's brother-in-law used to make homemade raviolis once a year. It was a family affair. Anyone who helped was sent home with bags full. They froze well. Always had some fresh the day he made it.

 

Lagunitas Willettized Coffee Stout, 12.4% ABV. When I reviewed this in 2018 I scored it only 4.12. This is much better than I recall, so I adjusted my score to 4.38. This isn't nearly as bitter as I recall. It's now my highest rate Lagunitas. Mia the Bengal is assisting, but paying attention to something outside. She's not into BBA Coffee Stouts.

Quick story. My buddy and I had a shitty radio show on the college radio station back in the day. It was the AM station, not even FM, ha. The number was something 1630 AM. Many dials didn’t even go up that high. But, the station did pump audio directly into the TVs in the dorm rooms. In any event, we used to hope students would call in and request songs. They never did, except for once. And the kid said, “do you have that Guns N’ Roses song that was in terminator 2?” I did indeed have a copy of Use your Illusion 2 with me! I was so excited. Anyways, thanks for the trip down memory lane.

 

Last one of these from pack I bought this holiday season. Sad to see it go. As mentioned, I’m not the craziest of IPA guys, but when I want one, this is what I want. And it holds up so damn well. I should just buy two cases of this every December and spread them out over the year. They’ll scratch my hop itch whenever I get it.
