NBW and ISIL cross-post. 3 Sheeps Brewing Cuvee Blend 2024. A combination of four different bourbon barrel-aged imperial stouts. This is an incredible creation. @MadMadMike opened the thread the only way it was meant to be opened today. It is Wrestlemania weekend. A de facto holiday weekend. The opening bell to spring. This year it is a celebration of the great city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I expect to see eastern Pennsylvania residents going hard in this thread, all weekend.

 

Howdy, Bar Mates. We’re at Anglesea Aleworks in Wildwood, NJ, for the first time. Cool vibe: industrial, kitschy chic. Think of the bar room/disco scene in Airplane. I’m starting with Haze Mat, American IPA hopped with Citra and Strata. Tasty stuff.

A NBS BIF#18 Beer from @FBarber

 

Anglsea Aleworks’ best known beer, Wah Wah Watch Butterscotch, seems like an oddity. The style is elusive. The brewery calls it as an Imperial Amber but I’d classify it as an American Strong Ale. Butterscotch is used in the boil and you can taste it but it’s not overly sweet. It’s a very nice offering that will receive a full NBS review tomorrow. Cheers from Wildwood!

 

Hey, BA happy Saturday. Having a Mykhola Doppelbock, which is very nice for the style. It has a nice lager crispness to it that i very much enjoy.
