    Spring. A kolsch style ale brewed by Maine Beer Company. I am more partial to MBC pale ales and IPAs but this kolsch is pretty good.

    Sipping on a Heady while smoking a couple of chickens we'll take camping tomorrow for the eclipse. Some have complained that Heady has turned too dank and weedy; I personally can't get enough. Still in a nearly two-way tie with Pliny for my favorite. Cheers!

    Maybe you've seen in my latest post I just started The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store . . . not sure why I haven't read McBride before, but I love it. A big old-fashioned, rollicking novel.
