What beer are you drinking now? #4191

Civil Life ESB. First time I've had anything from this brewery.

Nearly zero aroma and the flavors are a little muted overall. There are some nice subtle flavors hiding in there though. I think if it was more aromatic we'd have a really nice beer here. Could use a just a little more hop bitterness in the finish as well. While note a spectacular example of the style, it's certainly not bad. It's enjoyable enough as a warm up beer before I get into something different. Cheers!

Tackling some endless yard work and enjoying a Crow Peak 11th Hour IPA. So Dak!!

 

First of a big haul from @TCgenny. I feel guilty my contribution to the trade was so small.
Riwaka from Other Half, which I assume means its a single hop beer. Nice chance to get a feel for what that the Riwaka hop can do. Oddly the BA DB says this beer is retired, but the can is stamped 3/22/24.

 

Ukrainian beer. Had to pick up a bottle. Nothing special but Viva Ukraine.

 

This one just doesn’t look right, even worse in real life. The beer is not terrible at all, but the color immediately nearly stresses me out.

A quick stop and pop at Untied Brewing on the way home. I’m trying a new IPA: Clutch, Shift, Throttle, hopped with Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe. A very nice brew on this rainy Spring afternoon. Thursday cheers, BAs!
