I may now put Ivory Cloud at the top.

This was my favorite beer from a recent haul. Just everything.

I'll add to the chorus. I was headed there last week for our quarterly trip and was completely overwhelmed with IPA options. Saw the Moutere Magic rec here and went with it and am very much enjoying it. Beyond that I kinda balked at all the other offerings and just retreated to the classics.

Oddly, Moutere Magic was my second least favorite of the haul. Least favorite being Sapphire Rose

It’s beautiful here today and Land Of The Dark Night Sky is drinking beautifully. Let’s have a day folks. Let’s have a day!

Sounds like you may not be a Nelson fan. As far as hops go, it's pretty divisive. People tend to either love it or hate it.

    Nate dropping Good Morning tomorrow

Also, given the smoke if this is some weed shit they can suck it and it my god would that not deserve a mystery post. We’re not 15 in 1997. But in reality, given the 1000’s of individual beers they have created. Nothing short of Good Morning deserves a mystery post. And I think we’ll see that reaction tomorrow.

“Hey, we just made 42 versions of a Nelson forward New Zealand beer and we’ve created the Cosby family de Julius X 56.” So what could be so innovative or important. I’d like to see someone make a case.

    Just a mothalick’n realist here

Cue Nate, never posting photos of himself…on his own IG. And tomorrow is 4/19 not 20. Deer god don’t be a weed thing. But wasn’t GM originally a 2014 release?

LOL. After all that, it WAS a weed-themed beer...on 4/19. How ridiculous

I was trying to make some Hype. Treehouse has forgotten about the GM obsession

However I do remember working at Extreme Beer Fest 2014 and drinking a lot, of Juice Machine

I'm sure the beer is as fantastic as always, but that Juice Machine 10th Anny can is spectacular looking.

The can is sexy as hell. Too bad they had to put Peacharine in JM. I really don’t like it. Guess it was hard for them to do much with it considering jjjuiceee machine and incredible machine already exist

So I'm working through a haul of 5 IPAs my friend got for me a couple of weeks ago. I got five 4-packs: Very Green, Land of the Dark Night Sky, Moutere Magic, The Desire To Be Real and JJJuicee Project Galaxy3x. The beers were kept cold for several days during my friend's car trip. He's a beer freak and kept all the beers in his coolers.

When I got them, the first three beers were huge melon bombs. I don't remember which ones they were, but they all tasted the same and very one dimensional. After a couple of days the beers lost that melon thing and became the amazing and complex beers I'm used to from Tree House. As I have each different one, I think that that one is the best of the bunch.

I wonder if being jostled around in the car for a few days somehow activated the yeast to throw off that big melon flavor. As they have sat in my fridge for 10 days or so, they just keep getting better. Anybody have this happen?

The recent batch of jjjuiceee machine is very off. Have had it several times and this is definitely not it. Weird after taste on both cans. Even let one sit in my fridge for 3 weeks after the first can and no difference

Glad we swung by this evening for a coffee run and pour. Em decided to grab a pour of Truth Coffee and that was incredible. What a fucking beer. I drove so she also decided to try having and Espresso Martini. We both agreed we love it’s the dark version vs the creamy type. Our only knock would be the kola(which we both like) made it a bit too sweet. But it’s essentially a Treehouse version of the drink. Hadn’t tried New Day and was pleasantly surprised how much I liked it. Sunday evenings have been nice as the chaos trickles out quickly post 5:30pm. Also, fuck the group of basics in matching denim who put around 10 chairs together to chat and have drinks, pizza, etc. It was hard to throw out your bracelets and napkins wasn’t it? So you just left them on the floor, chairs and table as your parents clearly taught you to do so. It was fun to watch them literally just toss their shit on the ground as they left as we politely waited to snag their seats toward the lounge windows. Good parenting clearly. I kid. But left my thoughts on 10th JM in the New England thread. What a fantastic beer!
