Good day all, sunny but kinda cool late morning.

Attractive dark ruby brown color with good cap and lacing.

Aroma of dark yeasty bread, toffee, caramelized sugar, clove like spices and dark Bordeaux cherries.

Taste displays World Class complexity and sophistication. A wonderful melange of flavors just like it smells but these flavors intermingle so well as soon as you recognize one you're tasting another. How is this possible? It's like all the colors of the rainbow were blended into one yet still remained distinct.

    Full texture with balancing carbonation.

Simply one of the best of the Belgian Quads which as a group are among Beer Royalty.

[IMG] I don’t normally have Waldos for breakfast, but when I do it is 420, not to be confused with the number of this thread #4200. Strange, but cheers all.

Notch Salem Lager Helles, 4.5% - what a phenomenal beer! Cheers! :beers:

-Look: Crystal clear shiny-gold color, fizzy white cap that drops fast.
-Smell: Baked bread, white wine, grassy hops.
-Taste: Delicious grassy hops spread on dry bread crust!
-Feel: Light and thin like a delicate Riesling, slippery and fast.
-Overall: Phenomenal Helles, so drinkable and delicious - what a beer!

*Unbeatable for $18.99 a 12-pack and 3-weeks old at TW!

    Your meal looks delicious @belvedere86.

-Taste: Lemon and citrus hops leading a nice bread crust base.
-Feel: Medium bodied, low carbonation, smooth and slippery.
-Overall: Excellent Festbier with lemony bread-crust flavors - delicious!

Putting speakers in the forester this morning and brought a bottle to share with the guys at the shop. Imperial stout looks like good coffee when it's in a coffee cup.
    Cheers.

Good Saturday morning, BAs. It’s one of my favorite annual release days here in North Jersey: Brix City Brewing’s Silk City BA Stout. This year there are 5 variants including the OG. I arrived at the brewery early to avoid the mayhem to follow. Will buy bottles and hang out for awhile with fellow beer nerds. Cheers from Little Ferry, NJ!

Happy Record Store Day. Enjoying a rye barrel aged imperial stout from BuckleDown. Their 10 year anniversary release just last year.

I would buy Lagunitas more often when we had that size here I believe.

Good morning/day BAs! Going full on pastry stout this morning - Arkane’s “Dessert Eagle: Turtle (2021):

Bottled spring of 2021. Poured at 54°. Purchased at brewery March 2024. Sweet chocolate nose/taste. Thick viscous chewy feel. An excellent pastry stout. Working on tasting notes for NBW.

Beautiful sunny 60° morning. The temperature has been all over the place this week. I may have to sit outside and drink some beers this lovely Spring day. Cheers and have a beer satisfying Saturday y’all!
