What beer are you drinking now? #4201

Fieldwork King Citra. Wow, this is good, much better than I remember it being a few years ago.

 

I think i will join you in a lager David, this pilsner being from Olde Mecklenburg in Charlotte.

Agreed. I thought it was a bit dull.

 

That brewery has a great reputation. Their beer garden looks like a great place to hang out for a few hours on a sunny afternoon.

 

This is a well balanced hazy. Quite tasty.

I heard and read Notch is a great brewery. That beer looks outstanding! Nice pour!

 

It's a huge space. I was there on a weekday afternoon, so there wasn't a huge crowd. They definitely specialize in my kind of beer, so it was my first stop in Charlotte, and I brought home a few 4-packs.

 

Maybe not perfect, but catching. The eyes draw attention. When the right eye is more like the left eye this would be a rather perfect scetch.

 

I wasn't afraid to give PU a 5. I'm not sure what else they could do to make that beer better. Do you think you could pick which was which in a blind test?

 

Walked to visit my mother and stopped along the way and picked up an All Day IPA. Canned on 2-29-24, so in 4 years this beer will be 1. (Didn’t make it anywhere near 1.) Cheers!

 

One of these days I'm going to get there. They are up my alley as well. What did you bring back? Any of them a favorite?

Under 5% ABV is a plus for a beer like that too.

 

The Copper and the Mecktoberfest are as good as it gets, imo. I found the pilsner and the Baltic porter to be better than average, but not great.

 

100%, yes. But, when I first got the Budvar, I did alternate back and forth with Urquells every other beer some nights, and the differences diminished dramatically.

On that note... I'm Double-Czeching now!!
