Happy Wednesday BAs! Windy as hell out here, but at least the sun is shining, and I found my garbage can before it blew a block away. O'Hara's Leann Folláin is my pick for this afternoon - a very solid Irish stout. Cheers!

Kaneku - Hazy IPA (Spiced NEIPA)

Stone Ruination (8.2% canned 1/17/24): An Imperial WCIPA from California with flavors of bitter grapefruit and resinous pine. A sweet, but balancing bitter finish.

Coming to the end of the pack sadly, as this was one of my favorite WCIPAs. I think it might even beat the OG Stone IPA as DIPAs become more of the norm. Past three months out and still drinking superb. Starting to lose a bit of the flavor profile, but still keeping all of that WC Stone bitterness which is what I care about here. Not getting any of that early cardboard oxidation yet either. Wish they distributed this more regularly so I could get it more fresh. Sadly, may have to wait until next winter to find this guy again.

 

That's great. Both of these are excellent. Venn is right on the Light rail. I haven't been to Luce Line, but that it great they are right along a trail. I think both of these breweries deserve a visit.

Fond memories of this one from Societe from my PHX days. Picked up a growler while on one of our many road trips to S.D. about 7 years ago and shared with a buddy at a Coyotes hockey game tailgate. Definitely a wow beer from me at that time (rated 4.51)! Are they distributing to FLA or was this a vacay pickup?
Today i am enjoying an Eighth State Brewing offering. While i am not a big fan of their high-gravity beers due to over-sweetness, this one is done nicely, not too sweet.

Having a Smuttynose Blueberry Lemon-Bar sour ale.Today is Wednesday Wicked Wings day so will be putting some wings in the oven shortly for dinner.

 

That's awesome! Yea it's a vacation pickup. I was recently in SD about two weeks ago and brought this one back. It's super tasty, quintessential WCIPA for me. When I go back I def. gotta visit the brewery.
