Yup a Saturday morning and I am drinking a 9% Black IPA as my second beer. A really good one also.

 

Good afternoon BA. Out and about in Whitby again today. Starting off with a cookie dough stout from Fierce Beers

 

Sunshine by Brass Castle.

 

Ciao. La focaccia barese and a session IPA across from Castello Svevo di Bari.

 

Parish Brewing Ghost in the Machine IPA



Hazy light gold color with white cap and great lacing.

Aroma of bright herbal hops clearly displaying a ripe citrus character, I get pineapple and apricot.

Taste is a delightful mixture of the things found in the scent with an added sharpness in the hops. I don't really get the herbalness of the scent, rather a melange of fruit tones ranging from tropical richness to apricot lushness. Lots going on here, very complex flavors elevated to a highly sophisticated plane. This one has a fullness of hops without bitterness.

 

Too windy and lazy for a bikeride. So made a walk instead. Also bought more of these 99 cent Aldi IPA's 8). Cheers
