Because of two recent concussions I have switched to Alcohol free wine and beer and the good news is that I have found a great alcohol free beer from Partager brewery in Toronto. I was a consultant to Labatt in the 1980s and was recruited to became Director of Marketing in Ontario and then transferred to become Managing Director of Labatt in the UK in the 1990's. Then I resigned when it appeared that Labatt was being sold to SAB in the mid 90's and I returned to Canada as a freelance consultant since then in several industries.

If anyone reading this agrees with me that alcohol free beer can be a great choice please let me know. My beer as a first choice is Partake IPA

Hi, @jeckmire , nice intro. I sounds like you're well experienced in he beverage industry, and your expertise will be welcomed in the forums. We're glad that you found us.

NA beers are growing in their acceptance, and we have a thread in the forums on he topic. https://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/non-alcoholic-beer-abv-0-5-2024.675703/ I'm pretty sure there are some Canadian NA beers mentioned in the thread, but I didn't check to see if anything from Partager is included. This thread is for 2024 discussion. If you want to look back at prior years, I think this link will give them to you. https://www.beeradvocate.com/commun...n+alcoholic&o=date&c[title_only]=1&c[node]=39

I typically drink one beer per day, and I try to drink a NA beer every other day in my effort to cut back on the alcohol. I've tried many, but have narrowed down to a few regulars.

Hello and welcome! N/A beers have come a long way. I enjoy most by Athletic and also St Paulie Girl NA. If you are down for trading I seek out Untitled Art NA Juicy IPA. It's the #1 ranked NA beer on Beer Advocate. I just tried it and it was great.

SAB tried to buy Labatt, before it was sold to Interbrew in 1995? Most of the industry press at the time portrayed it as primarily a battle between Interbrew versus a joint offer from Onex (a Canadian investment firm) and Argentina's Quilmes Brewing Co.*, with Carlsberg and Anheuser-Busch also interested.

    * Quilmes, of course, wound up part of AmBev, and AmBev merging with Interbrew created InBev in 2004.

Welcome! I have been on NA my entire BA career, and it works well. Just need to have some imagination, as you can't try everything members are having. But definitely recommend to test the NAs you come across, interesting you can test all which are distributed near you, and get some by mail too on occasion.
