https://givebutter.com/DangerousManBrewingNextEvolution Basically - “our business model can’t sustain proper cash flow in a stagnant, if not declining, industry. It’s so bad that the dang banks won’t even give us money. So, since we think we are cool, please give us money to offset our poor business model so we can build a taproom in the middle of BFE where most people lean to the right.” Sad, if you ask me.
Nothing in that campaign makes sense. -how is a SEASONAL outdoor taproom going to turn the business around? Doesn’t sound like a good use of funds for a struggling company. -I don’t think three months of operating costs for which they are asking are enough to turn a struggling business around.
The more I read this, the more annoying it is. What a sham. Please give us your money so we can live the lifestyle we want to. They sure do think highly of themselves….. it reeks of vanity in their write-up. Good luck in Maple Plain with any relevant cash flow. And just because you PLACED product in all the locations you claim does not mean it will sustain. Hardly anyone outside of the original core area gives a crap about DM, or even knows who they are. Your gifts for forking over your hard earned money is poems written by them as well as “idolize me” swag? What the actual….. Zero respect. Vomit inducing.
What does that even mean, is it a slam to the folks on the right or are they looking for the right to bail them out? I'm confused !
If you are going to throw a little tantrum about something you can easily ignore, at least get the city right. It's Maple Lake.
A little late here, but Dangerous Man was ALL about the taproom and community/vibe they had going at their original location. The beer was okay for a local microbrewery but nothing that I would ever buy at the liquor store for $12+ a 6-pack. I just don't see how they recreate that setup out in the boonies.
