Off to another damp morning here on the tundra of NW PA - rained again last evening and overnight. Looks like the algae, zuchini, and rice crops will have a great year. Today's New Breakfast Beer:



Final Impression and summation: 3.5 Looks and feels like every other Imperial IPA out there, strong on grapefruit and generic tropical fruits.
Rating 3.75, rDev -7%.

Happy Wednesday ba. Off with shit to do. Up and at it then,

 

Happy hump day BA's! Decided to ride in our neighborhood and got in 12.67 miles, 7 laps with a .45 mile long 6% climb on each lap. Cooling down with a Founders All Day IPA. It's supposed to hit 95 degrees here today so have to start building heat endurance daily.

 

Good morning BAs! Took yesterday off as a cleanse day. Morning walk then yoga/exercise done…time for my coffee - Guinness Foreign Extra Stout:



Poured at 58°. Bought the last 4pk at the grocery store this week. Probably won’t see it again on the shelves until next year.

Temps will hit upper 80s today. Sunny, hot and humid. The “feels like” will be in the mid 90s…no more Spring . I need to start planning my escape. Cheers and have a wort-enhanced Wednesday y’all!

 

Right along here ba. Juice bomb, “northeastern ipa”, sloop. Nothing great but decent drinking enough.

Starting the day at Hop Butcher, lately my favorite taproom for beer, the space is solid but would swap out the concrete bar for classic wood. Scouted the taplist before arriving, and started with this one inspired by @Todd ’s review.

Howdy folks! Drumming was a gas last night. Started using a mid 1970's A Zildjian 20" Deep Ride. It works for the room & band. Bought it about 30 yrs ago. So now I'm enjoying a nice laid-back day here. Finally there's basically no wind so I got a 2nd application of Daconil on my showy mountain ash trees this morning. Why? Because rust never sleeps. <> Going with a new brew here: Two Pitchers Baseline Lager. I added this beer and can pic to our database and it took a minute to be sure it's not called "Cold Cruiser". X all day dad beer X. I really like it. It's kind of a pre-prohibition/post pandeminic new world Lager. Nicely done. Cheers!!

Got my 4 hours in on this thing. Lots of dancers last night.

 

Second and due to my lowered tolerance final pour here, though I’d like to explore more. Will try to “play two” on Friday between the new Goose Island at Salt Shed and a long due reappearance at The Beer Temple I really wanted to accomplish last Friday. Entered this beer into the wonderful BA Database.
