An Oz-style good evening to everyone sliding up to the bar, and thanks to @RaulMondesi for cracking the doors open for us.

Some Friday night footy is about to begin over here, and what's footy without beer?

This is Wayfarer by Green Beacon Brewing Co from Queensland.

    Cheers!

Good day BAs! Thanks @RaulMondesi for kicking us off (not an intended footy reference @AzfromOz)! Looks like another few days of rain here in the rain forests of NW PA - I'll be planting my rice crop shortly. Good thing I terraced my yard to retain water for the global warming clime.

Final Impression and summation: 3.75 (After deducting 0.25 point for undated personal container) Distinctly dank but lacking crispness – quickly becomes boring.
    Rating 3.9, rDev -1.3%

Happy Friday BAs! Day off today. Starting it by trying a new beer for m - Bold Monk Brewing Foeder aged Saison All is Vanity 6% ABV. Now, these can be challenging for me to review because I'm not as big a fan of Farmhouse Ale with a lot Brett-like character. I have to put that aside. This works well because it is balanced across several elements. Cheers!

    Review:
    4.25/5 rDev 0%
    look: 5 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4 | feel: 4.75 | overall: 4.25
Appearance: Slightly hazy gold, frothy white head with good retention.

Aroma: Green apple, pear and apricot esters. Mild Brett-like funk.

Flavor: Light apple, pear and apricot on the front. Tart at the end with mild bitterness.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied. Dry with moderate astringency. Effervescent carbonation.

Overall: Nicely balanced between elements of fruity esters, tartness, and bitterness. Each element stands out. Familiar Brett-like aroma and flavor; however, it is not overdone. Spicy note mixed in. Drinks light and refreshing with a moderate, effervescent carbonation. Dry finish. Has a moderate level of astringency that sticks on the palate. I enjoy Saisons. I don't enjoy ones with a lot of Brett character; but those that do will like this a lot. It is still quite tolerable for me, as the Brett is not quite as prominent as some others and the other elements of the beer balance it out. Well Crafted.

Continuation of yesterday's trivia, as I don't believe the answer was revealed.

I went to bed thinking Grilled Cheese (simple and almost anyone can prepare), but the regional aspect of a concentrated area of the US has me completely stumped still.

I refuse to search the answer!

    Cheers!

My guess is In-n-Out Burger. I’ve only seen clips of his shows since I don’t have cable, but my brother is a big fan and mentioned his trip there so I watched the clip and concur.

Double Double, animal style except I go with mustard instead of their house sauce, because mustard. Order your fries there well done. Hear me know, believe me later.

In-n-Out is a must for me in Vegas, and now that Pliny the Elder arrived for regular distribution in February, I might need to book an extra few days each trip to my already long stays.

My last Digital Comforts Best Better 3.9% ABV. I've grown quite fond of this staple at Good Word. This is most often the cask ale offering. I enjoy the canned version and appreciate the high quality at the lower ABV. It's fantastic as a cask ale. Cheers!

Good Friday BA's! Got in about an 8 mile bike ride, we're on the bottom edge of the big storm blowing thru the SE. Fresh Ghost in the Machine and the sun's out for now, 79 degrees.
