Space Dust is a personal favorite. When the hops hit you in the back of your throat in a brolic manner, I call that a win. Cheers!

    Good Afternoon Advocates!

It's the same temp here in NH as Ocala, FL currently... I'll be indoors for the remainder!

No more fitting starter I'm thinking on our hottest day yet.

    Cheers BAs!!

My local Albertsons was out of SN Summerfest last trip. I was offended. Luckily we have plenty of Saint Arnold Summer pils. Cheers!

    1) Hop Butcher Blazed Green Relish (8.0% canned 2/6/24): A NEIPA from Chicago with Citra, Strata, and Sabro for flavors of fresh orange, green papaya, and zesty citrus.
    versus
    2) Hop Butcher Presto Change-O (7.5% canned 2/7/24): A NEIPA from Chicago with Mosaic and Simcoe for flavors of mixed berries, juicy pineapple, and sweet pine. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    1) Hop Butcher Blazed Green Relish:
Hop Butcher IPA Battle as I work through the stash of both of these. First is Blazed Green Relish which I've had and posted reviews the past few days. Still maintaining its complexity.
Next is Presto Change-O. Mosaic and Simcoe. The Simcoe gives it a tangerine/stonefruit type of flavor I sometimes get. Nice tropical notes here. I sometimes think the Simcoe gives a little bit too much stonefruit and cantaloupe which starts to turn into a wet cardboard and black tea flavor as it ages. This isn't there yet, but I'm getting traces of that flavor here. Both are still great.
I've done this battle before, but now as they age a bit I'm picking Blazed Green Relish.

As someone that loathes Sabro, I actually enjoyed Blazed Green Relish. I was surprised.

Yeah the Sabro seems a bit more tamed here than other Sabro IPAs that I remember.

Having another Space Dust. I am avoiding the hype train beers in the fridge again today. I am trying to speak it into existence and not let them win. Support the classics. Peace...
P.S. Just like I start singing boy band material once I'm buzzed, I will probably fall victim to a hazy today. Haha.

Extravagant DIPA 13% from De Moersleutel. A lucky find in the supermarket earlier today during lunchtime. There was just one left, a that is probably a good thing regarding the alcohol. by vol. on this DIPA.
Taste is like a heavy DIPA but not boozy at all. The alcohol does have real effect however. I'm glad I'm in the comfort of my own home and not going anywhere after this one
    Cheers all

That's crazy bro! My in-laws on Newfound Lake and bil/sil in Bristol don't have A/C, Looks like the hottest day tomorrow then back to low 80's. We'll be 88+ until October unless a storm cools it off. Stay thirsty my friend!

I thought so. I'll have to send you a Saint Arnold pack sometime. Maybe fall when thier Ofest beers drop. They got grand prize to thats new year round this year, a American lager. Thier distribution has been way better I can get Saint Arnold pretty damn fresh now just about anywhere selling craft beer. It's been nice you can rely on anything being very drinkable. You need some Stubs Texas pils to, Lakewood brewery from the Dallas area has been impressing me.

There was a storm that messed with the grid recently or something like that. But many are out of power around Houston. I couldn't imagine being without a ac atm in Texas. Be some rough nights.

We lose power a lot, 2-3 times a month but hardly ever for more than 3 hours. The wife's fed up with it so we had the Generac guy come by last week for a quote. They show a 22KW on their website starting at $6.2K so we got a quote to buy it, install it, they came back with, Pay by Check Discounted Price: $15,996.13 No Sales Tax to Customer. I ask for a breakdown for $10K above the cost of the generator and haven't heard back from them yet.
