They are 12oz but it's the way they drink or chug. On the other side, ponies are 7 oz. I think Little Kings might even be considered ponies. Rolling Rock, Corona... Anyways, they're out there. Even imports now & again.

Mixed reviews on this one, I can't get enough myself. I'll keep buying 4-packs as long as I see them.

Good afternoon, all! I saw this Destihl Spicy Pickle Sour at the grocery store this afternoon and thought immediately of the pickled egg thread from a while back. They also had the regular Pickle Sour, but I decided to go with this one. I think this will make a great brine for pickling eggs. It's got the dill pickle nailed, plus a little heat and a whole lot of salinity. I can't see where anything could possibly go wrong. YMMV. Cheers!

Round one is "Spring", a nice hoppy lager from Zillicoah which is located in Woodfin, NC. If you find yourself in Asheville and appreciate a well-made lager or mixed fermentation brew, definitely get yourself over to Zillicoah and try a few of their offerings.
    Cheers!

New brewery and beer for me. Branch & Bone Artisan Ales Mitch & Murray English Mild 3.8% ABV. Leftover from Little Beer Fest in Duluth, GA.

Nice representation of English Mild. Flavorful, but light and low ABV. Another beer you could sit and drink all night. Cheers!

I’ve enjoyed their two Oktoberfest collaborations with Sierra Nevada, but per my take on my beer notes I still haven’t explored their flagship. I’ll need to rectify this soon.

This is a solid option for widely available MW IPAs. Would definitely slot it in the American subcategory due to the malt presence, but it’s in good measure and the WC flavors do shine. Loved the Pils battle as well, those are two great selections!

New rating system? Always loved the look of these style notebooks, though there are merits to it all being centralized and searchable, as I’ve come to learn over the years. I always will try a rye any style, because rye.

Love seeing Beachwood here. Hoping we get a drop sometime in June or July when my drink fresh beer stash will finally need reinforcements.
