Back home from a cardiologist appointment. We compared November data to today's, huge improvement. Resting heart rate half what it was in November. Celebratory Jai Alai.....

 

There is a plethora of hops in this. Citra, motueka, galaxy, citra cryo, mosaic cryo, cashmere cryo, loral cryo

 

Here's one I hadn't tried in a while. Its better than Belhaven on draught in Scotland, imo .

 

Yeah sort of surprising green bottles are still a thing for this beer, or really in anything but a Heineken.

 

Local house lager,picked up some more as its pretty decent

1) Hop Butcher Lord Octopus (7.5% canned 1/30/24): A NEIPA from Chicago with Mosaic for flavors of tropical berries, blueberries, cotton candy, light grassy, floral tones.
versus
2) Drekker Evil Natured Robots (8.0% canned 4/23/24): A NEIPA from North Dakota brewed with Mosaic & NZH 10 hops for flavors of orange citrus, green pineapple, guava, coconut, and lime. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

Winner:
2) Drekker Evil Natured Robots: Mosaic IPA Battle of Hop Butcher vs Drekker today. I've done this battle before but thought both were quite similar. First is Hop Butcher Lord Octopus. All Mosaic. Getting a little bit of age by now, but Hop Butcher tends to hold up with time surprisingly well and I'm still surprised how much great Mosaic flavor is in this one. Tropical berries and sweet green melon.
Next is Drekker Evil Natured Robots. I've been on a kick of this one lately. Mosaic plust that NZH-107. It's quite a fantastic combination and I think they struck gold with this IPA.

I really wish they had a better format (4-pack maybe?) because it’s just really tough buying multiple singles of Kolsch at MBC prices. As a one-off, though, it was phenomenal

 

Thanks man! Yes the months leading up to the ablation it was a steady 130 on meds, now 65-70 and BP was140/95, today 115/80, only on Eliquis, and hopefully off that next Wednesday after the follow up with the surgeon.....cheers!!!
