    This offering is very good
Hits all the notes, solid malt base, softened by some oak, I think Fuggels hops!
    The weekend will be short
    Cheers all

    Wow 7 pages already!
Came home early to seal the patio before a big shindig on Sunday.
Its been years since I've had a Dogfish Head. Sorry Sam. Still tastes great.

Got that break in the weather I wanted. Enough for a quick 2.5 mile walk, with the aid of some Pipeworks Night Sun Stout, at the fairgrounds next to the neighborhood I live in. Couldn't find my travel mug, so a plastic water bottle had to do. That's the grandstand for the quarter mile dirt track in the background. Cheers!

    1) Summit Twin Pils (5.1%):
A zwickel-style beer from Minnesota that is a newer version of the Keller Pils with flavors of floral hops, pale malts and yeast.
    versus
    2) Surly Hell Lager (5.0%): A German lager from Minnesota that has flavors of lemonflower with a dry yeasty and pale malt finish. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    2) Surly Hell:
A Minnesota German Lager battle from Minnesota. First is Summit Twin Pils. A great Zwickel beer. Like a pilsner, but a larger, but not heavier mouthfeel. Oneo of my favorites.
Next is Surly Hell. Very similar overall. A bit more lemonflower hop flavor. A bit less yeast. Surly Hell a slight winner, but both are favorites.

I always liked Surly Hell, then it disappeared from the shelves where I beer shop. Guess I better see why. Sometimes if I ask for a certain beer they'll get some in.

I must have too many hick friends who are still dipping the Kodiak.

Glad I read the textual description on that post for clarification! Cheers!

Might as well have a new brew while I wait for my lady to return. Let's try this one:
    Two Pitchers Nordic Jam Lager.
It looks a tad shabby but has a fantastic flavor & feel. Sort of like berry cobbler filling. Cheers!
