Westmalle Tripel. Beautiful and delicious.

 

It's a great beer, underrated, hard to find, but one of the best lagers out there.

Gosh that is one of the best BeerAdvocate photos that I have seen.

Fun day today, we spent the bulk of it out doors at a conservation area and sitting at the Cape Cod canal, watching boats go by and traffic coming over the bridge. Cheers!

Took Ava (our 14 yr old terrier mix) to the vet again today. All is good with her, got more tests done (negative!) and picked up her HeartGuard.

Ran errands afterwards then had some beers/fun at the pub. Home safely, drinking a Head Hunter IPA on the balcony:



I really like this IPA and not withstanding the hype/thread discussions, I’m grateful to get it here in SW FL (otherwise I’m typically getting it in Ohio). I hope it keeps coming!

My thermometer reads 92°. It’s sunny with a smattering of white vapor trails in an otherwise placid clear blue sky. My big ass fan is blasting me, so I’m comfortable; regardless, I’ll head inside after this beer and heat up some leftovers. Cheers y’all!

 

Still suffering on/off with the rona symptoms, but feeling pretty good tonight. Well enough for my BBB and I to try a beer, Troegs Graffiti Highway IPA. Good amount of tangerine on the nose and taste.

I have my big ass fan on as well - blades frozen by the flash - it's about 82 in the house. Tomorrow I will go to Home Depot and get a new filter for the AC.

 

Decent offering here, glad I tried four of em, but the Other Half I just had blows this away. We don't see a ton of Hop Butcher here, but I always grab when I see. Love to put them up against some of the East Coast bosses @defunksta style in my head

Right along here ba. Modernism, Czech style dark lager, schilling. Good notes of cocoa, and bitter coffee. Decent stuff,

New beer alert! Half Acre Daisy Cutter Select DIPA. A collaboration with Sierra Nevada. The guys at the beer store had to grab this one from the back and enter it into the system so I could buy it. Hope it's worth all the trouble. Cheers!

Things are getting serious quickly over here. Revolution Ryeway To Heaven. A ryewine aged in rye and bourbon barrels clocking in at 15.3%. This was brewed in 2020 and is as subtle as a sledgehammer. A delicious sledgehammer at that.

 

Alright, it is Johnny's Gold Brick time with an Old Fashioned.



Then Equal Parts Shared Strength Lager, which is very good. Review coming up for the NBW thread...

 

Then over to Moon Rabbit for some Vietnamese. An excellent Banh Mi, with everything you would want, and Blistered Schitsho Peppers.
