WEST COAST IPAs ARE DEAD

I remember the days where I hunted ipas based off how high that IBU was. Sadly it seems like all the ipas are how much can we make this taste like juice...

McIlhenney, North Park, Slice & Shred are making the best WCIPA’s right now. They’re clear, balanced, and way better than an IBU bomb.

The first part of 2024 has been great for West Coast IPAs here in Cleveland. I went through a case and a half? of Ruination. Fat Head’s did a Head Hunter variety pack, and while the regular Head Hunter is fruitier than it used to be, it still is piney and resiny. Two of the varieties from that pack were Simply Simcoe (just Simcoe), and a double dry hopped Head Hunter. The bottom of the pack was called Tropical Thunder, and it was still drinkable. I had at least four of those variety 12 packs. They also had sixers of some of the varieties, and I went through at least two cases of the Simply Simcoe.
