Watermelon girlfriend (tart) and a boozy bb stout (no ad junks). Trivia going on inside so I'm sweating it out in a scrap of shade. "British word for arugula?" I'm yelling rocket...not sure.

 

Crosstown Brewing Siren Blonde Ale



Light gold color with small white cap.

Mild aroma of bready malt and slightly spicy hops.

Taste on entry is mild malt and somewhat firm, spicy hops. The hop level is listed at 28 IBU and it shows, clearly outreaching the malt. There is a bit of fruitiness by mid palate yet the whole remains dry.
