What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #4236

Checked in on my old dog Ava, she’s fine (as far as I can tell for a 14 year old pup)…back at the pub picking up some lovely beverages for tomorrow’s pool party. Drinking Other Half’s Double Mosaic Dream:



Mosaic and Mosaic Cryo. I don’t get onion in the nose, and the hop delivers tropical fruit flavors. Again, imo, Mosaic does not play well with other hops, but alone can be stellar. Cheers y’all!

 

Good afternoon, all! Believe it or not, I picked up this one at the grocery store this afternoon: Stone Chai-Spiced RIS, vintage 2015. $6.50 tax, title, and out the door. They have a bunch of these, and this one is drinking just fine. No rough edges here, not boozy, excellent spice character. A little tannic on the finish, which I suspect might be from the tea used in the brewing process. Za zdorovie!

Pretty warm here for the end of May, 93 feels like 99, down from feels like 101 an hour ago. SNPA after some pool time.

The pool water temp did hit 90 today so the solar is off.

 

BBQ time...

Feges BBQ with ribs brisket, beans and potatoes. Eureka Heights Mini Boss in the glass.

 

Making some homemade pizza al taglio for the first time. Rectangular pizza made on a sheet pan. Hopefully will be good.

And having a beer from Stone.

 

After BBQ time, it was dive bar time...at Loose Cannon. Equal Parts Sea Shells Pale Ale, and the friendly bar cat is very interested in me today ha.



The friendly bar cat literally pushed my book off the bar cause I wasn't paying enough attention to her ha.

More Equal Parts, this time their Dad Pils.


It is a dark bar, just enough light to read by ha, so pictures are the best...deal with it
