Hello folks. I'm enjoying this Memorial Day remembering those who have served to protect our freedoms and to those serving. Getting this pic in btwx rain showers. <> In need of some reviews are many beers on my list say I. This one, which I had many many moons ago, is better today than my 1st rating. Must not have been very fresh way back when. However, this 6pk today is quite fresh and brisk. Glad to get it ticked in. Interestingly I think it leans more Euro style than American. They did well with the adjuncts here. Kirin Ichiban. Kanpai!!

DESTIHL Brewery Dosvidanya - Rye Barrel



Full Russian Imperial Stout tasting take link. First half a bit too sweet (malt and whiskey) and less Rye than hoped for, but second half a little better as I have about six ounces left. Still to barrel heavy, and different from my memory of first enjoying this, though perhaps my palate has changed. Still a good offering, just not a $14.75 purchase I'd make again unless the OG version can be verified.

Westbound & Down Golden Sour¹⁴ + Dry Hop. A recent Vault purchase at the brewery. Light, tart and fruity with a dry finish. Perfect on this warm sunny day along the northern front range. Raising this one to our fallen members of the military on this somber day.

 

Very tasty sauce.

 

This is a little maltier than I remember, still good though. Stamped BB Aug 24 if you were wondering. Big rain on the way.

 

Rib festival. My Yuengling lager was polished off in two minutes flat. Cheers.
