Starting my day with a bang.

 

Since I have the day off, having a Powder Hollow Raspberry sour. Very tart and with an odd medicinal overtone. It's drinkable though but not the best sour I've ever had. Powder Hollow is a brewery I typically steer clear of, but I decided I'd try this one.

 

On our way back from camping in VT. Celebrating the fact they found my license and CC that fell out of my pocket sitting in an Adirondack chair when I was here Friday.

Really great. Just as described.

 

A left behind beer from yesterday's cookout by one of the intuders yesterday. Sweet Child of Vine from Fulton. Kind of a generic tasting IPA, not good, not bad.

 

Bluejacket Island Radio milk stout (basically their Mexican Radio with coconut... take that with what you will)

 

Starting with a lighter beer today (recycled pic).

Brewed with pale malt and a hint of extra light caramel malt, it has a hefty malt body that balances and propels the nearly eight-pound-per-barrel dry hop. In addition, a new cool steeping procedure was utilized following the hot side brewing process."

Great nose if you breath in slowly. Some dankness but not overpowered.

Taste has a harsh note I suspect is from the Rakau, but it matches really well with the other hops to help them shine and not get lost in the shuffle.
