Won’t you dirty up that riding mower a bit so that I won’t despair over the sad state of mine? I can’t break away from using it long enough to get to the maintenance! One broken deck wheel, caked on wet grass, dull blades… I did manage to change the oil recently, clean the air filter, and add hydrostatic transmission fluid,

 

Did my part for the charity event tomorrow; I drove Amanda to Arkane to get a keg and a box full of bottles. Back at the pub now, drinking Green Moss, a Citra & Simcoe DIPA by Hop Butcher:

Come on…filthy those machines! I have chevron agricultural tires on mine to plow throw the mud and stones and 35ish degree hill angles. I’m riding it hard and putting it away wet. I need farm hands!

Adventurous Mosaic Culture IPA (Mosaic and Lupomax Mosaic). Loads of blueberry compote, cantaloupe, ruby red grapefruit, diesel, and pine resin. Juicy up front that leads to a dry and moderately bitter finish. Lightly airy and soft feel. These guys make great IPA’s.

 

Toppling Goliath knocks another out of the park.

Currently enjoying a 2022 Fire on the Coals, acquired at the source last May. This is well done. The barrel is still prominent and is nicely integrated.

Gnosis Shiftshaper - Mosaic. Decided to do back-to-back single-hopped Mosaic beers to compare. The Adventurous had more fruit, especially blueberry, with just a touch of diesel. This one is much more diesel and cannabis dank, but still with a significant amount of blueberry, yellow grapefruit, and white peach. Softer and a bit fuller in body as well, which is expected as this is one percent higher in abv. I prefer this one, as it has more diesely dank qualities to go with the fruity characteristics of the hop. The feel is a toss up, as I enjoy a more airy and drinkable feel just as much as a softer and fuller one. Luckily for me, there's some top notch stuff coming out of my local spot.

 

A month old today and still drinking great.
