Crazy thing is that i don't even remember having the original. So I'll definitely give it a try if I see it but it's not something I'm missing

Just looked back at my original review of this from 2013 and the only things I'd change is that the aroma is much more citrus heavy to me and the balance of coffee/chocolate in the flavor has reversed for me with chocolate being more dominant and coffee being secondary.

I fully stand by this final sentence from my old review

Since I'm late to the party and still enjoying this release, I'll share that I'm working through my second 6 pack and I thought I'd try some mixed with a bit of cold brew coffee. It wasn't perfect but I saw the glimmer of potential.

Let's see a new release of ssr dry hopped with some coffee beans!

Just grabbed a 6 pack in Carlisle, PA.
10-14 days past the enjoy by date, but happy to have found it.
    Drinks nicely-everything it should be.
    Cheers!

Some just showed up at a grocery store near me— same batch as yours that’s a bit past date (brewed in Feb I believe). Thanks for the tasting report— I might have to go ahead and pick some up. Not sure why it showed up so damn late, though!
