    Good morning/afternoon all

An unlikely pick for me, but I’ve been hearing good things about Popihn. A little sweet from the rum barrels, a little spicy at 12%… lots of chocolaty flavour to boot. Mixes well with the unseasonably rainy weather

Good day BAs! Thanks @ChicagoJ for starting today's thread - absolutely yes - grab every Revolution brew you can find and drink them in a toast to all of us BAs outside the distribution grid.

Today's New Breakfast Beer comes courtesy of that great BA @snaotheus:

Oh yeah! A good barleywine that I'd never have gotten to taste if not for Ryan! Thanks man!

Final Impression and summation: 4.25 Kind of one-dimensional (sweet) with brown sugar and little bourbon barrel. The ethanol is extremely well-hidden – this is a very innocuous tasting beer, great poundability; one I’d revisit any the earliest opportunity.

Hertog Jan. Also kept cold during transport and in the shops, like the Heineken I had yesterday. This Dutch beer is better by the way.
    Cheers

That view is somewhat we have here (I'm the Netherlands at the moment). Including the cloudy weather.

Yep, enjoying the pond and waited for the sky to clear a bit, alas! Just got back home now and watching the Beguiled, with Nicole Kidman and Colin Farrell on Netflix…

Thank you @Ozzylizard . I ended up pulling the trigger, with the pledge I hopefully keep to work my way from just over 4 cases of cellared Deep Woods to under 2 cases (1 would be ideal) when renewal time comes next year. My brother bought 1/4 of the package last year, so will have 10 extra beers to enjoy or share over the upcoming year.

Thank you, and thank you for your Black Butte XXXIII review Sunday. I also don't see Deschutes here as much as I like to, but there is a place in Vegas I can enjoy vintages and perhaps will share a bottle or two from them (Aces and Ales) with my brother next trip!

Happy Tuesday BAs - a warm (upper 80s) day in store before some rains overnight and tomorrow...
Got the new / 1963 Penguin racing sailboat inspected and properly registered to me Monday afternoon - quite a process, but the boat was free, so, all good!

also put the mast and sail up for the first time too - man, that sail is big and mast tall (19 ft) for a little 11-1/2 ft long boat! She should fly!

Ratio Beerworks -- King of Carrot Flowers

Semi-cloudy orange appearance with the pour, body is opaque in the glass; lively carbonation; thin, patchy head initially that quickly resolves to a with ring of suds around the circumference of the glass interior. Great aroma of tropical fruits and floral tones; Orange Crush soda. Unique taste profile; semi-sweet with a herbal twist; subtle underlying bitterness; carrot juice, pear and orange; thyme. Medium and coarse feeling body; fizzy on the palate; partially sweet, partially dry.

This is one unique tasting beer. Labeled as a carrot and elderberry saison, it also tosses in some crazy yet good herbal and orange notes. While I doubt if I would buy this again, the remaining five cans I have will make for a very satisfying warm weather thirst quencher.

A rare post for me in this thread, but why not?

OGs with Bad Knees - black pilsner (???) It's tasty and very different.

Noble Matter France - outstanding. Bright, wine-like, floral.

Bananas Wheat - interesting wheat with a hint of banana.

Mexican lager - nice and light, refreshing.
