    Good morning Advocates,
today I have time to tell you about another nice can, an (American) Pale Ale characterized by an experimental hop that here in Italy, I had never heard of, nor appreciated its yield.
I was left with the "phantom", here instead another type of lupulin extraction has been patented:

Birrificio Vertiga (Vicenza, ITA), Jungle Juice Brewing (Roma, ITA), Yakima Chief Hops (Washington, USA) e Mr. Mat (Udine, ITA) - LEVEL COMPLETE - Pale Ale (5%)

44 cl can (bought on a website for €4.50, took 4 cans).
Pale Ale 5% brewed in collaboration between Birrificio Vertiga (Rossano Veneto - Vicenza), Jungle Juice Brewing (Rome), Yakima Chief Hops (Washington, USA) and Mr. Malt (Pasian di Prato - Udine).
The hops are an experimental proposal provided by Yakima Chief, specifically: the new YCH 301 Trial Citra, which is part of a program called Elite Product Trial by YCH and combines the essence of freshly picked hops with the patented Cryo Hops technology. The hop cones are collected and without undergoing drying, they go directly to the Cryo Hops plant where the lupulin is separated from the bracts (part of the hops covered with short, multicellular glandular hairs that come off easily and make up the lupulin) and then pelletized.
On the nose, fruity notes of ripe fruit and yellow-fleshed and citrus fruit (I smell peach, ripe citrus, grapefruit).
Poured it is a blond amber, very orange.
Abundant foam, soft but persistent to act as a hat to the beer (pours in three times from the can).
In the mouth light body, lively carbonation to liven up the drink.
As for the taste, I expected more of an English-style Pale Ale instead even before swallowing it the mouth is pervaded by a clear sense of bitterness, which is found once the beer is swallowed.
The citrus notes are the master: especially grapefruit and bitter orange.
The bitter note remains on the tongue for quite a long time, while the palate is clean (no fruity flavors of any kind echo, if not a fairly dank citrus).
It is called "Trail Pale Ale", "Trial Pale Ale", it hid a beer MUCH more similar to an India Pale Ale (or at most to an American Pale Ale, light but nicely bitter) than to an English Pale Ale as I had imagined (both from the definition in the can and from the alcohol content).
I must say that I was very surprised by the level of bitterness of this beer that evidently in the imaginative definition of "Trial Pale Ale", hid a beer MUCH more similar to an India Pale Ale, than to an English Pale Ale as I had imagined (both from the definition in the can and from the alcohol content).
Light-bodied beer but with a bitterness without frills, which certainly characterizes and distinguishes it.
I used the translator for many technical terms, so I am quite sure that there will be some linguistic misunderstanding, I apologize for this probable eventuality.

Good day BAs! Thanks @Shanex for starting us off with another delicious brew. @Jack_14 - excellent review and the techy stuff translated well - good job!

Well, amid the daily monsoon, I've managed to work in a delicious brew from @snaotheus:

Very good! But, when I went to the website to check out this brew, it says they're closed! Too bad - I'd really liked to have tried more of their stouts.

Final Impression and summation: 4.25 Tasty imperial stout with invisible ethanol. Expresso predominates. It’s been years since I’ve even seen macadamia nuts, so I don’t remember how they taste. The bourbon certainly is not “In your face” but provides a mellow background against which I can enjoy this brew.
Rating 4.21, rDev 0% (First review)

Thanks Ryan - I love this beer!

Orange Amber gold color with small white cap and little lacing.

Aroma of sharp, bitter, piney/citrusy hops with an emphasis on the citrus.

Taste on entry is delicious hop icing on a sweet malt cake. Yes, this stuff is good. Hops are sharply refreshing and redolent of citrus zest. Malt is rich, plentiful and could stand alone in other beer styles. The thing that strikes me most is balance from beginning to finish which is clean, lasting and refreshing.

    Full texture with balancing carbonation.

The overall impression is great balance matched with satisfying flavors.

For a while, they had a location in Oregon and in Albuquerque (Corrales). Then, I think, they were closing the Oregon location and moving everything 100% to Albuquerque.

Now it looks like they're opening a new one downtown Albuquerque next month?

Good morning y'all. Not the best malt liquor I've met, but way better than expected. This isn't the first time I've reviewed a malt liquor in a stemmed glass, I'll tell ya. [IMG]

Good morning/day BAs! I’m preparing for a short trip, taking a coffee break with Revolution’s VSO Dark Mode, BBA Imperial Milk Stout, in #properglassware gifted to me yesterday by a drinking buddy who visited the brewery a few days ago on my recommendation:

Canned 11/4/22. Poured at 52°. BBA imperial stout great! Boozy at 14.4%…my kinda breakfast beer!

Another sunny hot humid day on tap. Fortunately for me, my trip prep will mostly take place indoors. Cheers and have a great Thursday y’all!

Bottled 11/22/23. Poured at 54°. Smooth coffee, bourbon delish. Why do I keep chasing BBA Imperial coffee stouts?

    Cheers y’all!

Thanks P! I’m trying to lose some weight/belly roll (which has been a struggle) and as you noticed, I’ve cut back on my morning drinking. I’m making a little progress and when I indulge in my morning “coffee” like today, I’m all too eager to go whole hog in! Cheers buddy!
