Final Impression and summation: 3.75 OK IPA but a bit weak in both aroma and taste for me.

Beer Lao IPA at the Rock Pub across the street from the Hotel

Dad (me) got to pick what we do this afternoon, so I’m moving right along with the beers at Bad Martha. This is my fav spot when we’re up in the vineyard. Having Vineyard Ale, a nice ESB. I always love seeing this style on tap lists

Oh hey so how's it goin' there? I'm all keyed up for my midweek Duluth Or Bust work play. It's still kinda cold at night by the lake so I gotta dig out some sleeves. If I didn't have my drums in tow I'd freak out in all the beer stores but, as it is, a medium-sized cooler is all that'll fit. Plus I wanna hang out at some breweries since I'm solo on day/night 2. <> Quite humid here today. The sky is pregnant. Time for a beer whilst travel packing: Leinenkugel's Honey Weiss. A very decent beer and remarkably easy to find. Revisiting to do a proper review. Cheers!!

 

Our son was in Phoenix for a job interview, and wanted to know what beer he could bring home. Not knowing the beer scene in Phoenix, I looked up Southwest forum on Beer Advocate, found a thread on Phoenix recommendations, and came up with some good selections. Just another example of why I like Beer Advocate.
