    Thanks!! This batch of asparagus was excellent - I moved the elastic and looked at all the spears to make sure there was no slime or mush before I bought it.. Cheers!!!

    Pours out crude oil thick, black and opaque; thick, brown head, bubbly. Dense, rich aroma filled with dark, sweet chocolate with roasted grain attributes; lightly charred brown sugar. Blast of dark, malted grain sweetness; bourbon; cinnamon and cardamom; anise; dark brown sugar; vanilla. Dense, smooth, and oily mouthfeel; glides over the palate and leaves a delightful sticky residue on the palate.

    This is a remarkable beer. The bourbon barrel aging comes through strongly but not in an overwhelming manner, but the real beauty is with the blending and complexity of the malt base and vanilla beans. Everything melds together in a cohesive fashion, the varying flavors dancing nicely with each other. Throw in the impressive imperial stout mouthfeel, rich and palate coating, the scent and taste lingers long past the end of each sip. A beastly, beautiful beer with immense character. Quite delightful.
