Words of wisdom and let’s forget talking about politics here, but the bipolarisation of society is certainly eerie. No threat is ever an idle one, even when one douche hide behind a VPN using a made up handle.

    « interesting » time to live…

That's great. Yes, refrigeration is key. I'll still drink Hop Butcher 4-6+ months out but at 9 months I noticed a significant difference. It depends on the beer though. Mega Bite is a great Citra IPA. Enjoy.

Life is never easy for a genuige honest person just minding his own business and wanting enjoy a good beer in peace?

Just by being yourself and not taking crap and abuse, you get involved in all kinds of shit, is it not? Really, doing nothing, means getting abused 10 times a day by system-apparatsjiks.

I know only one thing. The govermental bodies paid by tax money seem very neo-stalinistic to me. I am very pessimistic about the future of Europe.

Fair State/Hop Butcher The 400 Club (6.5% canned 4/29/24): A NEIPA from Minnesota with Nectaron and Mosaic for flavors of peaches, wine grapes, passionfruit, and mango.

Fair State Hop Butcher collab. named after the 400 Train between Minneapolis and Chicago. Nectaron and Mosaic. Similar Mosaic and Nectaron to the previous BlackStack IPA/Phase Three IPA, but vastly different flavors. I think I tried IPAs from many of my favorite breweries today: Phase Three, BlackStack, Drekker, Fair State, & Hop Butcher. It goes to show that there is a distinct brewing process and yeast flavor that is imparted into these IPAs because while they may have similar or identical hop profiles, they cant taste and drink rather different. Needless to say, I'm grateful to be able to have the opportunity and access to some of these great IPAs.

Good afternoon BAs! Glad it's Weds. I on vacation next week, so over the hump now. Looking forward to putting my butt in some sand.

Almost exploding can was completely my dumb fault. Resulted in just short of a Šnyt pour.

    Nice light chocolate malt taste.
Not too bad, definitely better Shiner, although a little bit more chocolate malt than I prefer in a Bock.
Still, nice to see a Bock in the sea of IPA's.

Westcoast Wednesdays with a Florida Brewed WCIPA named BAD MAX(invasive species brewing). Overall, pretty tame n safe for the style.. using only citra+mosiac. South Florida really needs to step up their westie game. Cheers!!

David, Looks like another solid one from Good Word. Hope you have a relaxing time at the beach, where are you heading?
Me, hanging out and enjoying another lovely June day in Western NC, temps right at 80 and not too much humidity. The beer is almost as nice as the day, a barleywine from a collaboration from Orpheus/Prolyfk. Can't recall having a beer from either brewer but this has aged quite well. Listening to SiriusXM Lithium Deep Cuts
    Cheers!

It was their Dark Czech Lager. Excellent. It's several months old and I admittedly abused it, but it was still very good. A testament to the brewery.

Headed to Destin on Sunday. Swimming with the sharks.

That's a nice looking Barleywine! Cheers, Tom!
