Earlier I had a Chang on Draught in a Euro Sports Bar on Ko Phi Phi. This place is very touristy. Hoping the diving makes up for it and we get good weather. Today was rainy and gray. The Ferry ride from was about 3 hours

Good day BAs! Thanks @MadMadMike for starting us off! @russpowell - sounds like a wonderful jaunt - sure would like to see some pix!

    Today's New Breakfast Beer:

Final Impression and summation: 4 For being >6 months old, still a tasty IPA (Simcoe holds a long time, Citra and Mosaic, not so much). I’d definitely buy a fresher one if I ran across one.
    Rating 3.74, rDev -2.9%

About 15-20 years ago, I could find Jenlain Ambee here (along with 3 Monts that I notice you both posting occasionally) it’s a really nice Biere de Garde. Those are 2 imports that I wish I could still find locally - I guess I’ll just have to take a trip to France to have them again! Cheers!

Yes, our old friend @superspak used to tell me La Goudale could be found in Michigan when he was living there but for a steep price and also an old bottle. Good beers, much better fresh… cheers!

Green on Green. Galaxy hops still haven’t recovered. Weird woody after taste with them for well over a year. The pineapple is still strong, though

Like a holiday in the sun, but it's 'just' after work beer  End of the day does feel like a short holiday in the sun this way.
We stay at another sea side hotel (close to our work and home) while our 1930's apartment gets an upgrade to meet modern insulation standards etc.

Good afternoon, all! Following another archaeological site tour this morning, we stopped for lunch in a pleasant little prix fixe restaurant in Bergama, Turkey. I ordered the spicy ground lamb and beef kebabs and a beer. So I'm having "mystery beer," served in a tin whatever the hell you call this. I have to say it wasn't bad. More character than your run-of-the-mill Euro Pale, nice bitterness, a slightly fruity note, and a crisp finish. What could it be? EFES Dark? Who knows?

Taken today near the Hadrian's Temple archaeological site, Bergama.

Hello BAs. A beer sure seems like a good idea now to help out with the soggy & cool weather we're rcvng here. Holy buckets. Lake Of The Woods Lakeside Kolsch. It's okay. I wish it were better but it'll do to get the ball rolling for me today. Cheers!
