Finished loading about 200 45acp 200g hp so I can switch the xl750 over to s/w 40, nice to work in the AC. NB Juicy Haze, it's nice and cloudy with about a 15-20 mph breeze.

It almost seems like blasphemy to drink yellow beer out of this glass, but once I start with a glass, I'm in for the duration. Not fond of doing extra glass washing.

MMM, bahn mi, always love it. Looking forward to going to Hughies (my local Vietnamese beer bar) later on Thursday, for Saint Arnold's 30th Anniversary tap takeover. As usually with these, I always run into a lot of people I know, and usually forget to take any pictures...if I can remember, I'll post them, cause there will be lots of bahn mis had

Banging a Focal Banger after spending the day working onsite. First time I've been into one of the Biohazard level 2 labs since 2020 - I did a ticket in there today. It's hot here today, but I left my blinds closed all day and the AC on low so it's comfortable in the house.

    look: 4.25 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 4 | feel: 4 | overall: 4

Pours out a dark, mahogany red, appears black and opaque in the glass; thick, dense and spongy, light khaki colored head; light sheets of foam drape the glass interior, long-lasting. Light, dark malt nose; toasted and roasted grain elements; a touch of raw oak; a twinge of vanilla. Bitter chocolate and mild vanilla flavors; bold booziness; modest sense of bitterness; some raw coconut aspects. Medium-heavy mouthfeel; lightly spongy; mildly sharp and biting alcohol presence.

I like this beer. I can't really decipher the bottling info; so it's a tad foggy for me to figure out the beer's age, but it drinks nicely for an barrel aged imperial stout. I'd love to try this one on tap.

Sounds like a great time will be had! Bahn mi's are quite possibly my favorite version of a sandwich. Just something about the meat, the freshness from the pickled veggies and herbs, and the crispy bread that make it so good! The Vietnamese know how to eat.

The Biohazard Level 3 and 4 labs are the ones you don't want to have to go in. I've worked in a BSL-3 lab before, but never in a BSL-4 lab - thank God. When I went into the BSL-3 lab i had to get all suited up to go in.

    Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2)

BSL-2 laboratories are used to study moderate-risk infectious agents or toxins that pose a risk if accidentally inhaled, swallowed, or exposed to the skin. Design requirements for BSL-2 laboratories include hand washing sinks, eye washing stations in case of accidents, and doors that close automatically and lock. BSL-2 labs must also have access to equipment that can decontaminate laboratory waste, including an incinerator, an autoclave, and/or another method, depending on the biological risk assessment.

    Biosafety Level 3 (BSL-3)

BSL-3 laboratories are used to study infectious agents or toxins that may be transmitted through the air and cause potentially lethal infection through inhalation exposure. Researchers perform all experiments in biosafety cabinets that use carefully controlled air flow or sealed enclosures to prevent infection. BSL-3 laboratories are designed to be easily decontaminated. These laboratories must use controlled, or “directional,” air flow to ensure that air flows from non-laboratory areas (such as the hallway) into laboratory areas as an additional safety measure.

Other engineered safety features include the use of two self-closing, or interlocked, doors, sealed windows and wall surfaces, and filtered ventilation systems. BSL-3 labs must also have access to equipment that can decontaminate laboratory waste, including an incinerator, an autoclave, and/or another method, depending on the biological risk assessment.

    Biosafety Level 4 (BSL-4)

BSL-4 laboratories are used to study infectious agents or toxins that pose a high risk of aerosol-transmitted laboratory infections and life-threatening disease for which no vaccine or therapy is available. The laboratories incorporate all BSL 3 features and occupy safe, isolated zones within a larger building or may be housed in a separate, dedicated building. Access to BSL-4 laboratories is carefully controlled and requires significant training.
